One quick Question,

This is with respect to 401K Entries. How do I put in transfers. I had X and
Y Portfolios and I transfered 40% from X and 100% from Y to Z Portfolio. And
now I have only X and Z portfolio. How do I show this in Money?

Thanks

Shanki

You use terms in ways not used by Money. A Money data file has one
portfolio. A portfolio consists of multiple investment accounts. Each
investment account can hold positions in multiple investments. If you are
changing investments, use Sell and Buy transactions. If you are transferring
the broker association for an investment, use the Transfer Shares
transaction on the investment in the investment account. Money will ask you
for the target account for the transfer.

Normally everything in your 401K is in a single account. If by
"portfolio" you mean fund, and if you know how many shares of each
you are dealing with, enter Buy and Sell transactions in the
Investment Transactions register. That is the best way.

If you don't have that situation, use
Investing->401(k)Manager->UpdateAccount which will update your
holdings with Add Shares and Remove Shares.
