Depending on what type of statement, this is a problem.

The easiest solution is to disable online banking and set it up again. Make
sure that you have no pending payments or APays.

Rich,
Are there any other solutions? I don't know if it is possible to disable
online banking due to the frequent usage of my checking acct. each week by
myself & my spouse. Please list if so, w/tutorial if possible.
Thanx,

No, I don't think so. Once you've associated a downloaded statement with
the wrong account, there's nothing you can do as far as I know.

I think I'd try to find a good time to disable online banking and just take
care of the problem at the source.

Disabling online banking is only momentary. You can reenable it almost
immediately. But you have to stop all apays in advance. epays aren't such a
problem, because they'll just become non-electronic payments in your
register, which you can link to the electronic payment when it posts.

Payees may be a problem because the bank description is not necessarily the
same as your description. It may require you to recreate your payees, and
you may not be able to use exactly the same payee description.
