Could someone please tell me (elaborate a bit please) what MS was in fact
changing and/or updating in the recent July update to Money 2005, 2006, 2007.

When the "attention getter" popped up on my money screen I when into the web
site and read everything I could and for the life of me could not find any
specific things the did nor any specific detailes about what they were trying
to (or did) accomplish.

MVP's please weight in on this one ----- thank you!!!!

It was not a change to your program but to Microsoft servers.

If you were not downloading statements by Money via a third party,
the change would not affect you. If you do downloading statements by
Money via a third party, then you have some things to do, and even
then find that your FI is no longer covered for the downloading.

It was a change to a newer version of Yodlee vs a mix of an older
version of Yodlee plus CashEdge.

They changed the underpinnings of how Money connects to "third party
services" to use a newer version of the Yodlee interface for obscure
reasons. They also discontinued use of CashEdge as a "third party service"
also for obscure reasons but probably business considerations were somehow
involved. If you don't download transactions or your downloads are direct
from the FIs, then the change to you is nothing.
