Logging deposits before credits that are done on the same day?

I would like to have my deposits entered into the register
before my credits when they are done on the same day. Is
there any way to do that?

Enter them in that order in the register. Within the same day, entry order
always is the sort order.

Hmmmm....doesn't happen that way for me.
I am entering future deposits and payments (I may have
mistated by using the word "credit" before). If I already
have the deposits in the register, let's say for May 15th,
and I enter a payment for that same day - Money always
puts the payment above the deposit.
I thought there may be some way of setting it differently,
like in "Tools", or "Options", but I haven't been able to
find it.
