The college expense estimator tells me room and board for an undergrad at UF
(here in Gainesville) costs $273/year, and Out-of-State tuition (which I
would not have to pay) costs -$714 (yes, that's a negative sign). Obviously
I have to ignore that and enter my own value, but can someone else replicate
it in M06 Deluxe?

There should be some reduction in food expenses at home when my kid leaves,
but there is little or no change in my housing expenses (hot water?) and the
college room costs are cash out of pocket.

TIA

Chris,
Why not just enter the numbers YOU believe reflect reality?
My Lifetime Planner is based on my ten+ years of data, my latest
budget, and MY best estimates of the future. Therefore the results
appear reasonable to ME. The so called college expense estimator would
seem to me to be based on some general criteria which would not satisfy
MY desire to project the most accurate information I can obtain. JMHO.

I already did that based on information provided by the university. I'm just
asking if anyone else can replicate the error I'm seeing.

It's actually supposed to be based on data provided by College Board
(http://www.collegeboard.com).

Which doesn't mean it isn't full of, ahem, issues.

Agree. Just trying to get confirmation from other that that is the case.

I think the word you're looking for may be 4 letters beginning with CR.

I was doing end-of-year cleanup the other day. After hours of bills morphing
to paychecks, Money whining about negative shares when I tried to change the
date of the last Buy in the account, duplicate bills showing up when sorted
by Payee, phantom duplicates showing up in Lifetime Planner Link to
Paychecks, and four or five M06 crashes--call me a masochist, but I'm still
on a dual track here--that word not only came to mind, I think I shouted it
following the words "piece of" once or twice.
