Hi-

When I click on Accounts it shows the Last Updated date for my broker to be
12/29/04 but I just updated it today and got transactions. When I click on
the date it brings up the little box with the passwords and everything and
in gray says last updated as 1/1/05. Now I just recently switched brokers
and changed this account over to a new login and password so I am wondering
if it might have something to do with that. It is not a huge deal just
kinda annoying when I am trying to figure out if everything is up to date.
Does anyone know what might be causing this discrepancy? Thanks!

-Dan

Hi Dan. I am guessing you are using Money 2005? The "Last Updated" field
is one of my pet peeves. I was told by Microsoft technical support that the
date listed there is not the date you downloaded your statement but the date
the financial institution says the information was last updated. For
instance, I have two accounts that always look like they are off. My
brokerage account is always one day "behind" and my 401k account is always 3
days. However, I was assured that this is the absolute latest information
available from the financial institutions.

Like you, I'd rather it just say the day I last updated rather than how
"new" information is.

Richard, yes I am using money 2005. I'll have to check and see if this is
consistantly moving forward then. I would rather it just give me todays
date but I guess as long as it changes I will feel better. Thanks for the
info-
