Hi Everyone,
I have been having this issue for a while - but just now trying to figure
out what's happening. I have several loans (including car, equity, etc.)
which I have set up on Money 7. Sometimes the interest and principle are
calculated correctly - but more often, the entire sum of the payment is
allocated to principle (as viewed in the account register). I've check to
insure that the loan is set up okay - and it looks okay to me. Any ideas
what's happening to me?

Any help appreciated. Thanks. Patrick

Hi,

I was really hoping someone would respond to this. My fear is that I have
some kind of file corruption - and I'm not sure how to handle that. Any tips
/ advise appreciated.

Thanks,
Patrick

You probably didn't get an answer because, though this issue comes up here
from time to time, nobody here really knows why or what to do about it. For
"corruption", check out the File | Repair choices. Can't say whether these
will do anything for this case.

Hi Dick,

Many thanks for the response. Well, at least I know now it's not something
I'm doing wrong. For a kind of test, I've opened a new loan account,
transferred transactions to the new account from the old - and tried posting
some new transactions. I'm still getting the same thing (at times).

Take care,
Patrick
