Hi,

I'm using Money 2005 Small Business. I do some lite day trading and when I
try to download transactions from my broker they are always imported into
Money in the wrong order, which is a real pain. For example, I have an OFX
with one day's transactions. The transaction appear in the OFX in date/time
order as follows:

buy
sell
short sell
cover short
buy
sell
short sell
cover short
short sell
cover short

However, when I import this OFX into Money and read the statement, the
transactions appear in this order:

sell
short sell
cover short
sell
short sell
cover short
short sell
cover short
buy
buy

When I try to accept the transactions Money starts adding phantom shares in
order to balance everything out. Note that this is not occuring because of
FIFO investment tracking. I can reproduce this with an empty money file with
a single investment account. Can anyone explain why this happens and if
there is any way to import the transactions in the correct order.

Thanks....

I agree with you that this is not correct. I would open a support case
with Microsoft.
