I installed Money 2001 on my new computer with Window XP.
When I tried to run it, I got the error message:" Unable
to initialize a reguired Money component. Please
reinstall Money from your original product disks." Well,
I did uninstall/ reinstall many times without luck. Why?

Are you using an administrator account to install it?
