Yuck. Ok, it isn't that bad though I cannot find a thing yet. It made me
change my password to my bank before it would update (download in 2005
speak) and wouldn't update Morgan Keegan last night. This morning it
wouldn't update Morgan Keegan or Fidelity. And it scares you to death with
rows and rows of error messages though it seems just not to connect. It
updates faster and maybe doesn't try as many times. I don't know. I went
to my other computer where I kept Money 2004 and Morgan Keegan updated just
fine.

Disabling Online Services for MorganKeegan and re-enabling them fixed the
problem. I had to merge some duplicate files and delete some but everything
seems to work now. One thing I found this morning when I updated was that
it didn't display the Downloaded balances page so I could go to each account
that had downloaded transactions to clear them. Is this something others
are finding?

I had the two drop down menus intact for category and sub category on the
forms entry view until I switched to essential view and back to advanced.
Now I cannot seem to get anything but the combined category:subcategory
listing, which I don't like as well. Is this a feature or a bug?

After seeing the single category line issue discussed here, I switched to
using it in '04 just to understand the dis/advantages. It's really not bad.
Type the first few letters of the category name until it auto completes,
press colon, type a letter or two of the subcategory. You're done. Because
the colon is under your pinky, it's actually easier to type.

I'll be doing that with '04, *not* with '05.

It would be even easier if you didn't also have to use the shift key to get
the colon.

But still not as easy as just using dual list. It cost them effort to take
that option out.

I agree, Dick - I miss it.
