I recently had to do a restore of my files from a flash drive. After the
restore the 'checkbook' on my checking account showed the correct balance but
everywhere else ('previous balance' under 'balance an account ' screen, in
the cash flow forecast, on the home page where it shows account balances) it
shows the balance of 999,999,999,999. Same is true for my savings account.
Anyone ever see this?

Anthony,

Welcome to Money's trillion dollar corruption problem.
What I've done in the past is:
1. find the offending transaction
2. modify it.
3. repair the Money file.

Find the offending (corrupt) entry by creating a "Net worth over time"
report. This should help you find what month the corrupt entry is in.
Play around with customizing the reports' Date range and selected
Accounts until you can narrow down the search to the date and account
of the corrupt entry.

Make note of the entry and the current balance, then change the dollar
amount of the entry by any random amount. I used .01 cents.
If that solves the trillion dollar issue then change the transaction
back to it's original amount.

Then run Money's repair sequence.

Hope this helps.
