    - Accessing money database on a home network On a pervious versions of money I was able to access my money data from a second computer on my LAN at home.     - Mutual funds merging with other mutual funds In Money 2000 Deluxe, how do you record when a mutual fund company combines with another mutual fund? I had 200 shares of fund a, which was combined with fund b, and I ended up with 300 shares of fund b. However, there is no exchange available in the investment options for mutual funds.     - Status bar display; Money 2004 Deluxe Hello: The reading for the Dow Jones Industrials in the Status bar display at the bottom of the screen in Portfolio Manager has not changed in about 3 weeks, while the Nasdaq and S&P 500 work correctly and are updated daily when I update prices.     - chance of a lifetime found this on a bulletin board and decided to try it. A little while back, I was browsing through newsgroups, just like you are now, and came across an article similar to this that said you could make thousands of dollars within weeks with only an initial investment of $6.00! So I thought, "Yeah right, this must be a scam", but like most of us, I was curious, so I kept reading. Anyway, it said that you send $1.00 to each of the 6 names and address stated in the article. You then place your own name and address in the bottom of the list at #6, and post the article in at least 200 newsgroups. (There are thousands) No catch, that was it. So after thinking it over, and talking to a few people first, I thought about trying it. I figured: "what have I got to lose except 6 stamps and $6.00, right?" Then I invested the measly $6.00. Well GUESS WHAT!!... within 7 days, I started getting money in the mail! I was shocked! I figured it would end soon, but the money just kept coming in. In my first week, I made about $25.00. By the end of the second week I had made a total of over $1,000.00! In the third week I had over $10,000.00 and it's still growing. This is now my fourth week and I have made a total of just over $42,000.00 and it's still coming in rapidly. It's certainly worth $6.00, and 6 stamps, I have spent more than that on the lottery!! Let me tell you how this works and most importantly, why it works.... Also, make sure you print a copy of this article NOW, so you can get the information off of it as you need it.     - Duplicate Downloaded Statement Good Afternoon, All... I have a very elementary question, but, one that has me stymied. I am running M98 and have just downloaded and imported a bank statement. The problem is that I downloaded over a month's worth of information that I already had done. I don't know what will happen to my register if I go through and clear these items as Money is trying to get me to do. Is there a way that I can get rid of the statement that Money is trying to get me to read? Or, will 'clearing' the items as usual have any effect on my register?     - Automatic addition to payee list I travel all the time in a motorhome, and use Visa for most expenses. I download my Visa transactions as QIF files and import them into Money 2003. My problem is that Money automatically adds each new payee to the list of payees. My list of payees just keeps growing and Growing and GROWING..... Does anyone know of a way to stop the automatic addition to the list? I know I can manually remove them, I would just rather they weren't added in the first palce.     - Fund Price Update My issue is different than the price update problems I have read here. MSN Money.ca's fund price is simply out-of-date. For example, the search for TML705 (a Templeton fund) shows the last nav price was Dec.3 Today is Dec.8 The last nav should really be Dec. 5 (Friday).     - Invoices in Money2004. What is the secret of printing invoices in Money2004? I've tried three or four, and end up with text-over-text and other positioning problems. They do *not* look like the kind of low-buck-but-still-professional invoices I wanted to send out. I'm using Money2004 Small Business (v12). Windows Me. Printing to an HP LaserJet 5p. Everyone has their favorite problem with Money, but for me it's always been the printing, going back to Money98.     - Saving Budgeted Amount For yearly bills. Hi all, I have been using Money 2001 and could never figure this out properly and I have now upgraded to Money 2003. It has frustrated me a lot, and I am hoping that someone out there with better knowledge can help. I have a MAIN account and a SAVINGS account. I have yearly bills (Car Reg/Insurance etc) and I have entered them into my budget. Money says that I should spend $x.xx per week on these items but as I am only billed yearly I wish to transfer this money into my savings account so not to spend it. The problem I am finding is that I don't SPEND the money each week and only TRANSFER it so much budget says I have lots of money left over to spend when really it is non-available funds. Is it possible to document how much money is transferred from the budgeted amount into a savings account and also keep the categories so I know there is $x.xx in the Car Reg category, and $x.xx in the Car maintenance category? Retail version of Money 2004 Premium wil not successfully convert 99 .mbf or .mny file after several attempts. I designate revenue under 2 separate files (my wife & I both own businesses that we owned when we married; separate v community property). Example revenue-me & revenue-wife. I need to separate sales that are taxable from the tax exempt ones. On the invoice it can be marked taxable or not but I need the sales completely separated.
