Hogging all of my resources

Tried to start money a couple of days ago and it is hogging all of my
resources. I didn't change anything. Could someone please give me a fix.
It's been a week since I was able to use it. Money 2005

There have been several posts in the past about this - especially in the
early days of M2005. The conclusion seemed to be "OK so it uses 100% CPU -
so what? The CPU is a resource to be used so why worry if a program uses it
to the max?"

Thanks for the reply; however, because it uses all of my resources I can't
use the program or anything else. Only option is to end the process. So, I
am going to "worry about it using it to the max." If you don't have a
solution, please don't respond back.

Given the imprecision of "hogging all of my resources," I think your reply
to Bob has uncalled for vitriol.

M06 is certain environments--my laptop, for one--seems to have severe
performance issues. Some threads have indicated that the contents of the
file-specified home page can be part of the issue.

Have you tried opening the sample file?

I apologize if I came across rude, and maybe I didn't explain the situation
correctly. MS Money has always taken up a lot of resources, but as of the
last week, it freezes. I can run other programs fine while Money is
open...I just can't use Money '05.

Once again, I apologize, just very frustrated.

Have you tried opening the sample file? The purpose of the diagnostic is to
determine if the problem is centered in the application or something about
your data file.

I found it and it works fine. However, when I go to my money it freezes.
