I hold an IRA in which, at one time two funds were represented. The IRA
management team opted to move, or convert, all the shares from "Fund B" into
"Fund A". How is this best handled in Money?

The best way is to do a Sell of fund A, and a Buy of fund B.

In an IRA, a Remove Shares and then an Add Remove Shares should do the same,
right?

Same? I don't think that Remove Shares and Add Shares work the same
in each version. I don't remember the specifics. I seem to have had
the presence of Add/Remove Shares make performance information not
work. Having run into disadvantages with Add Shares and Remove
shares in the past, I avoid them. They may do fine.

When you Add Shares, you can designate a value in recent versions of
Money -- so the cost basis should be the same as if one did a Buy Shares.
