I am moving a gazillion entries from one account into
another account. There must be a way to select more then
one entry at a time. I have tried the alt-A thingy, the
shift click thingy, etc. Nothing will allow me to sellect
more then one entry at a time to move. Does anyone out
there know a shortcut??

Not directly. You might consider QIF export, editing the resultant file in
Notepad to replace the old account name with the new one, then QIF import,
then delete the old account. There are lots of ways this could get in
trouble or get complicated though--like transfer transactions or if you want
to be selective in the transactions moved. Be sure and make a copy of the
file before doing something this radical in case you don't like the results.
You might consider something like the old macro recorder--though I just
looked on my XP Pro machine and couldn't find it anymore. There are probably
similar tools out there.

Barring any of that, rename the target account to something that sorts to
the top of the list (like 0), then you can get pretty fast at the key
sequence: Context Menu Key,P,Enter. When you are done, rename the account
back to what you want.

Are you moving all of the entries in the account? Instead of moving
the entries, consider renaming the account.
