I uninstalled the Money 2004 and upgraded to Money 2005 and did the upgrade
mny file process.... it simply shows

"Money cannot locate mny file" or cannot open it, possibly because it is a
read-only file or you do not have permission to change it or your disk is
write protected.

No matter I do the upgrade from mny file or backup file or do the repair. It
always returns the above message during conversion.

I actually can open the file from Money 2004 without any problem.

Pls help~~ I can't use Money 2005..

Here's something to try - try opening the sample file, then allow Money to
download the latest update. Once it's all downloaded and converted the file
again, try opening your 2004 file. I believe one of the fixes could have
been to do with this problem, and it would be worth getting the QFE fix to
see if it has.
