    - Portfolio not updating stock prices properly Some of my stocks in my portfolio do not update prices throughout the day. Some do, but most do not, including HD, T, ... ones that I know have the correct symbol inputted. For instance, at 7PM, when I look at my portfolio, most of the stocks list the days gain as unch, and still list yesterday's closing price (which didn't update until sometime late the night before).     - Broker statement downloading I find that some of the OPTIONS downloaded from the broker statement do appear in the list of transactions but are absent from the Portfolio summary of that period. Apparently Money did not recognise those transactions as OPTIONS and therefore did not record them accordingly. Please advise how to fix this problem so that Money recognises these transactions as securities. Further more please advise if it is possible to edit the properties of any particular security i.e. change the ticker symbol or change from PUTS to CALLS et The dialog "More ivesting tasks - View all investment activities" presents a list of securities to choose from.     - Access away from home Hello, I was wondering if someone could tell me if you can access Money from somewhere other than the computer it is downloaded on. For example can I access it from work or a friend's computer? If so, how do you do it and can you still retrieve the same info? I'm not sure what a pocket PC is but saw somewhere you can access Money from it, is this all your personal info too, like bills due, payments made, etc.?     - Unsuccessful statement updates One day about a week ago, my Home Depot and Sears credit card accounts would not update although I have had them working for the last six months. After going through the process of online setup, Money appears to download my acount information then an error message box pops up saying the information could not be updated from your bank or brokerage. When I send the error message into Microsoft, the bleow data is presented on a web page but without any guidance. Anyone have the same problem?     - Portfolio - updating funds I am suddenly experiencing problems with MSN Money updating certain fund prices properly. I think (but am not sure) that the problem is that it is putting the decimal point in the wrong place (for example, Â£9,560.95 is being shown as Â£95.60 because the price is wrong by two decimal places).     - Penson username and password changes? Hi guys- I have an investment account with MB Trading and it used to be that I could update by account automatically through Penson Financial Services (online.penson.com). MB Trading just recently updated their site so I no longer need to (or can) log in directly on penson's site and now my info won't download either. Is anyone else having this problem or know what I can try to fix it? MB Trading isn't being very helpful at all in the manner and keep on telling me I can input it manually.     - Bug !! in Money 2004, Standard - 'Chase' NOT listed I am using Microsoft Money 2004, Standard. When I go to 'Accounts & Bills' -> Online Service Manager -> Change Financial Institution, For my 'Chase' credit card account, I cannot find 'Chase' in 'Select Your Financial Institution' to select from the list.     - Archive Question Hi, archived my transactions in Money 2004, I had tried to restore them using the method in the help file, but had so many duplicates I gave up. I have since up graded to 2006. I was wondering if its possible to restore these archived transactions into 2006 or if I'll have to reinstall 2004 and do it there? Also would like to know if you can restore the archive all at once or if you have to do it account by account. And lastly is there something I can do so I don't get all the duplicates?     - Account Type Hi, I had an insuranc epolicy in India before coming to Canada. There the premiums are invested in various funds. Every day the unit rate of the fund fluctuate. Now which type of fund this would fall so that I can track my funds in India. Similarly I opened another Universal Life Account, premiums paid on monthly bases.     - 401K Mutual Fund Manual Price Updates I have a 401K that tracks NAV of the funds differently than the prices auto-downloaded by Money for the same symbol (don't ask me why???). I have turned off Auto-Update of those funds so I can manually update the fund prices myself. The problem is that no matter how many times I try to delete previous on-line price updates, they remain with the Fund. This is kind of minor, but also kind of annoying. I've learned when I add a new fund to this account to disable price updates before my next update and this works for new fund additions, but the old funds are still maintaining those on-line price updates. What's weird is a lot of the prices are from dates before I even initially purchased the funds in the account. I have run the Clear Historical prices and everything else I could find.     - Deleting unncessary stuff How do I delete payees who are no longer active? Similarly, how do I delete the autofill for accounts that no longer exist. For example, I used to have something called "Old account" and now, it is closed. Now, I have "Old OSHA account."     - Deleting Investment accounts from Fidelity I was able to download my 401K and IRA from Fidelity to Money but the info was not correct. Fidelity told me to try and start over so I tried to delete the the accounts by going to "change account detail"--"delete account" and it seemed like it was gone. When I went to "Add a new account" and went through the process it not only created "IRA" but also created "IRA #2". I thought I could merge the two accounts but that didn't work either.     - Bank One merger to Chase I have online billpay through my bank, formerly Bank One, now JP Morgan Chase and loved that I could schedule the payments in MS Money and upload to my bank. Since the finalization of the bank merger around the end of March Money has not been able to connect to my account and in fact when trying to resolve it ended up canceling the feature (online banking) within Money for my Chase accounts. In trying to fix the problem I went so far as to add a new 'dummy' JP Morgan Chase Checking account in Money. When trying to connect to the bank's website during this online setup I get this message "Verify that your user name and password are correct, then try again". It is correct, so I am back to scheduling payments online with my bank and downloading. Since this all started I get this message each time I open Money "There may have been problems processing your online transactions. Click Update Now before sending transactions again or you may cause duplicate transactions. Contact your financial institution to confirm your online transactions have been processed."     - Online updates without using passport Hello, Is there a way to use online updates without using passport? I'm not asking about file downloads - I want msmoney to connect directly to my newly opened citibank accounts and download account transactions whenever I select the on-line updates option. This works fine for the accounts I've set up in earlier versions, but using passport and publishing your account information to the web seems to be compulsary for any new accounts.     - Mobil Gas Card I am having a problem where Money 2006 Deluxe is no longer automatically uploading my Mobil Gas Card transactions. It keeps telling me "update unsuccessful". The comments were telling me to try to re-do my online setup. I went to my online setup settings for this card and it is asking for my account number and password. Mobil recently changed their online access through their website where you no longer use your account number and a password to access your account, but use a login that you choose and a password. I have tried using the account number and my password to set up my online access through money, as well as having tried my login and password like I do on the website and Money will not set up for automatic online transaction retrieval as it used to do.     - Money 98 to 2004 problems I had Money 98 which I would use to put on my new computer to regain access to my files. However, I have the lost the disc to do this. I have money files whith my important data on but I cannot access them. I currently have an XP Pro machines and read the many posts. I followed the link toupgrade to the 2004 trial version. I attempted to convert and open a file and it told me that the files was created using an incompatible version.     - making and tracking loans & details...2 weeks new to money I've set up a car loan in money 2006. Each month it breaks out the interest & principal (which is wrong so I need to fix it when the stmt comes in). In order for these monies to be directly debited from our checking account, do I need to set up a reaccuring bill?     - Money 2006 Small Business downloads too many accounts I have several accounts at BOA. Only one of the accounts is business, and so only that one business account is set up in Money. In Money 2004, direct update (correctly) downloads only the one account that is set up in Money. But Money 2006's direct update (incorrectly) downloads all of the BOA accounts under my name and password at the bank and (incorrectly) creates them into Money. Then, if I try to delete the unwanted accounts in Money, it deletes all (including the correct one) or none. How can I tell Money 2006 to just download the one account that I set up and to NOT create accounts on its own just because they are under my userid and password at the bank?     - Ofx file import and "aliased" transactions In Money 06, I find that some transactions imported into my checking account from Paytrust as ofx files get "aliased" into completely unrelated transactions -- for example, a payment to Jeff the lawn guy gets =EFmported as a payment to Greg the occasional housesitter. The data looks to be correct in the ofx file, so the issue seems to be at the receiving end. The payees, and categories are unrelated, and it doesn't seem to be a case of similar payment amounts. Tonight, when I downloaded 4 transactions, half were right, and half were wrong. I can manually change things back, but I wonder if there is anything I could do in Money that might fix this?     - Linking Credit Card Account to Bank Account My credit card and my checking account are at the same bank. I wish to be able to link the two so that when I pay the credit card account balance, it is linked to the check register from my checking account. I also want to reflect each credit card line item posted to the correct category when I reconcile.     - Active Statement Error Trying to read an Active Statement from Wells Fargo and receive the error: "A communication error occurred. Please try your call again. If you continue to have problems call your financial instititutions's Online Services Customer Support. I've contacted WF and they say its a Money problem. I've opened an incident with Money and so far no resolution. The last thing they had me try was to create a new Money file and read the Active Statement there and that worked. I guess that was to prove the file and Internet connection are good. Has anyone experienced this before? I've been resorting to QIF downloads, but I know Active Statement worked several months ago.
