Re: Going insane with Online Sync by anonymous

You can only merge an account once, I've found that
annoying. Once I merged the online account and the old
account, it lost its online funcationality so I tried
setting it up again and thus created another dup account
but couldn't merge it to the previously merged one.
Also, I've found almost annoying enough to reinstall
2004, when it downloads new transactions automatically,
it doesn't match them with the transaction I already
entered like it does if I import the new data from the
bank website. For instance, I have a bank transfer from
BofA from Savings to Checking. I entered it into Money
as a transfer. When money pulls it from the website the
next day after it has cleared, money created a new debit
in the savings and a new deposit in the checking. If I
delete them it keeps redownloading them. So then I
decided to go with the Money download and delete mine.
Then I mark the money downloaded ones as transfers and it
creates a new corresponding transfer instead of linking
the two together.
Basically I can't enter in transactions manually if i am
going to use the online services feature of Money or it
will create duplicates. I also can't use the transfer:
function or it creates duplicates.
Money 2004 was a lot better at matching new downloaded
transactions with manually entered transactions. How can
I get in on the beta for Money 2006? I've used Money
since Money 98 and have upgraded every year. There
doesn't seem to be as much quality beta testing on 2005
compared to all the previous ones.
