Full version 2006 will not install

After using the Money 2006 Deluxe Trial Edition for a couple of months, I
decided to purchase the full version from the Microsoft Money Website.

The Full version won't install over the trial version and the full version
will not finish a clean install itself.

I have followed the knowledge base articles referencing similar problems to
no avail, and I cannot contact support even though i have paid. Oh and the
trial version expire in four days, making this extremely frustrating.

Any help will be appreciated.

If you would have posted here several days ago we would, almost to a poster,
have advised you to go to the store and buy the CD. I don't know that it
would have prevented your problem.

You say "won't install" but do not give any details like error messages,
etc.

Yes, I agree, had I only checked here before purchasing...

The upgrade from trial attempts only once, and then never completes. When I
download the full and clean install, the core apps install, but the remaining
functionality never installs. There are no messages associated with the
failures, they simply don't install.

Also, I hae tried with and w/o my firewall, and have checked all of my logs
to ensure nothing is reported.

Do something similar to, but not the same as
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;889930

In the resolution, create a NEW empty file (named perhaps Temp.mny)
that you put the referenced Passport onto. Restart the computer.

Confirm that Money shows the right version. Then click on your
real Money file that is shown on the bottom of the File menu.

Try uninstalling the trial version first.

Bugger that you have to check a newsgroup to determine the requirements for
upgrading a product!!!!
