So after thinking it over, and talking to a few people first, I thought about trying it. I figured: "what have I got to lose except 6 stamps and $6.00, right?" Then I invested the measly $6.00. Well GUESS WHAT!!... within 7 days, I started getting money in the mail! I was shocked! I figured it would end soon, but the money just kept coming in. In my first week, I made about $25.00. By the end of the second week I had made a total of over $1,000.00! In the third week I had over $10,000.00 and it's still growing. This is now my fourth week and I have made just over $42,000.00 and it's still coming in rapidly. It's certainly worth $6.00, and 6 stamps, I have spent more than that on the lottery!! Let me tell you how this works and most importantly, why it works.... Also, make sure you print a copy of this article NOW, so you can get the information off of it as you need it. I promise you that if you follow the directions exactly, that you will start making more money than you thought possible by doing something so easy! SUGGESTION: Read this entire message carefully! Like most of us, I was a little skeptical and a little worried about the legal aspects of it all. So I checked it out with the U.S. Post Office (1-800-725-2161) and they confirmed that it is indeed legal! STEP 4: Copy this article. Change anything you need to, but try to keep this article as close to original as possible. Now, post your amended article to at least 200 newsgroups. (I think there are close to 2.4million groups) All you need is 200, but remember, the more you post, the more money you make! This is perfectly legal! If you have any doubts, refer to Title 18, Section 1302 and 1341, US Postal and Lottery Laws or Title 18, Section 3005 in the US code, also in the code of Federal regulations, Volume 16, Sections 255 and 436, which states; "a product or service must be exchanged for money received." The simple note in the letter, "PLEASE PUT ME ON YOUR MAILING LIST", makes it legal because you are paying for exchange of a service, (adding the purchasers name to his mailing list) for a $1.00 fee. IMPORTANT: Keep a copy of these steps for yourself and, whenever you need money, you can use it again, and again. PLEASE REMEMBER that this program remains successful because of the honesty and integrity of the participants and by their carefully adhering to the directions. Look at it this way. If you are of integrity, the program will continue and the money that so many others have received will come your way. NOTE: You may want to retain every name and address sent to you, either on a computer or hard copy and keep the notes people send you. This VERIFIES that you are truly providing a service. (Also, it might be a good idea to wrap the $1 bill in dark paper to reduce the risk of mail theft.) Step 5) Visit these message boards and post this article as a new message by highlighting the text of this letter and selecting paste from the edit menu. Fill in the Subject, this will be the header that everyone sees as they scroll through the list of postings in a particular group, click the "post" message button. You're done with your first one! Congratulations...THAT'S IT! All you have to do is jump to different newsgroups and post away, after you get the hang of it, it will take about a minute for each newsgroup! **REMEMBER, THE MORE NEWSGROUPS YOU POST IN, THE MORE MONEY YOU WILL MAKE!! BUT YOU HAVE TO POST A MINIMUM OF 200** That's it! You will begin receiving money from around the world within days! Those 3,125 persons will all deliver this message to 200 newsgroups with my name at #1 and if still ONLY 5 persons per 200 newsgroups react I will receive $15,625,00! With an original investment of only $6.00! AMAZING! When your name is no longer on the list, you just take the latest posting in the newsgroups, and send out another $6.00 to names on the list, putting your name at number 6 again. And start posting again. The thing to remember is: do you realize that thousands of people all over the world are joining the internet and reading these articles everyday?, JUST LIKE YOU are now!! So, can you afford $6.00 and see if it really works?? I think so... People have said, "what if the plan is played out and no one sends you the money? So what! What are the chances of that happening when there are tons of new honest users and new honest people who are joining the internet and newsgroups everyday and are willing to give it a try?     - MS Money Plus 2008 trial time is over - want to convert back. I have been using MS money 2007 since it came out. I usually upgrade every year. So I downloaded the trial of 2008 (plus) and installed it. I've been using it for about a month and have determined that for me the cost of upgrading is not worth the additional features. I would like to continue to use MS Money 2007. However, when I try to open my data file that I've been using with 2008, 2007 won't open it. I have a month's worth of new transactions in the 2008 file and it would be a real pain to reenter them.     - Money Plus 2008 Tax rates incorrect I have the new Money Plus 2008 Premium installed. The tax rates for tax year 2008 have not been updated although it appears that the 2007 rates are correct. As a result, the "tax estimator" module gives incorrect values for the 2008 tax year. I went into Settings-TAX settings, and all of the 2008 entries reflect rates older than 2007. For instance, the standard deduction and exemptions do not reflect the 2008 rates, eg $3500 per person exemption and $10900 standard deduction. How do I get MS Money to update the new tax rates other than my manually entering the correct rates as a "custom" rate in Settings. Previous versions of Money automatically updated the tax rates when they changed.     - Prompted to Register When Downloading Transactions I recenlty upgraded my laptop with a larger hard drive. I reinstalled Money 2001 onto my new hard drive. (I haven't upgraded because it suits my needs just fine!) Now whenever I go to download transactions from my bank account online, I get a prompt reminding me to register Money. Apparently, registration is required to access online features. If I try to "re-register" by filling in the info and clicking Submit, I get an error saying the server cannot be contacted.     - Home screen report (Spending by category) I've got my home page set up just the way I had it (after one of my RAID0 drives crashed, taking my Money file with it :,( ). Anyhow, the Spending by Category report shows expenses put on one of my credit card accounts in addition to my checking account. I only want it to show spending in my checking account.     - Gen'l Money 2007 Question Hello,, This year I've decided to expand my use of Money 2007, to begin a more analytical look at my budget & spending. One question I do have is when categorizing payments to a credit card and/or equity loans. Should I record the expense and categorize it to it's appropriate category at the time the item initially appears on the credit card/equity loan?? Or should I expense it at the time of payment?? If I should do it at the time the item is recorded on the creditcard, what would be the best way to categorize the payment?? I'm not certain what is the correct way to do this.     - mouse scroll doesn't work in register I use windows vista 32bit. Microsoft Money Plus deluxe. Installed it as administrator. Everything seems to work fine except that when I am in the account register the mouse scroll wheel does not work at all. It works okay in other parts of Money. Just not in the register. It is a real pain to move throught the transactions using the scroll bars. I want to switch to Money from Quicken becasue it would only scroll up and not down.     - Classification: initial balance I have Money 2002. I am a property manager and use "Properties" as a classification. This being a new year, I need to set up balances for each property I manage.     - do CC payments show up in cash flow? I use my CC to track most of my spending and pay off the bill each month when it comes, using a transfer from my checking to the CC. Money downloads it as "internet payment" and it jives with the transfer that I made from my checking account.     - How reliable is MS Money? I would appreciate some feedback on how reliable MS Money is in regards to online banking? I currently have Quicken 2008 and it has never been reliable in that regard. It was a pain to setup, but after correctly initial balance errors all was well for maybe a week. Then it had problems downloading transactions with bank #1 After fixing that a few times bank #1 seems to be stable Bank #2 starting bombing out shortly there after and has never worked more than a day at the most since. Sometimes the error would say it was on quicken's end and they would fix withing 48 hours yet a month later and I am still waiting. I bought the software to save time not waste it and It's not worth the hassle to remove/reinstall every time I need to download new transactions .     - Unaccepted transactions not showing up I have had no problems before but today I updated my accounts and every account says it has transactions but no are showing up. I can even select accept all tranactions and nothing happens, It still says I have transactions to accept.     - Money Account Balance Discrepancy with Bank Balance I've been using Microsoft Money since 2002. My current version is 2007 Premium. My checking account balance in Money is no longer in synch with my Bank's balance. I regularly download/reconcile my account information. My checking account balance was last reconciled with Money on 12/24/07. All of my transactions matched perfectly. Then on 1/1/08 I noticed a discrepancy between my online account balance and the Microsoft Money account balance. The discrepancy is for $387.72. That happens to be the exact same amount as a starting balance adjustment I had to do on one of my credit cards several months ago. Since I have a similar error for an identical amount of money I'm thinking the error is with Money. On the credit card account it wasn't a problem since the adjustment was a credit. I've had to do starting balance adjustments on my credit cards in the past and it was never a big deal. But I've never had a discrepancy like this with my checking account. All transactions from my bank and Money are identical and other than the balance discrepancy there's no obvious math calculation error. I was able to reconcile my account today but had to do a starting balance adjustment because of the balance discrepancy. Any idea as to why I would get such a weird error?     - MS Money 2007 Deluxe vs Money Plus? Is their any reason to upgrade? I downloaded the Demo of Plus but it looks just like 2007. I see no reason to drop $30 bucks. I wish they'd get a feature where I can enter a transaction on the money website and then sync when I get home. I like to enter stuff into my account register just as quickly as I can.     - Unable to go online with Passport acct I've seen posts from a week ago or so from others having the same problem as me. I can not get MSM2006 to go online with my hotmail/passport account. I am able to log into my hotmail email account successfully. I seem to recall this happening a few years ago when MS released a XP update that broke something.     - Money Plus (2008) on XP - continuous prompts to update Money I am running Microsoft Money Plus Deluxe 17.0.120.727 on Windows XP. Microsoft Money Plus prompts me repeatedly for a required software update. The update appears to download and install successfully. However the next time I run Money, it again prompts to install a required software update. Here are the dialogues presented: "To continue operating successfully, Money requires a software update. Click OK to close Money and begin the udpate now." "Money is now ready to download the new files. To begin the installation, click OK." "Please wait while Microsoft Money Update installs a required software update. This might take several minutes." I reviewed KB 927811. This is for Vista. The article tells me to delete MNYCoreFiles, but I can't see how that will work -- that's where Money's program files are installed! I reviewed the directory where Microsoft Money Plus is installed. There is some sort of new directory created today during the most recent run. The directory is named: "C:\Program Files\MoneyPlus2008\MNYCoreFiles.NEW.{9D6EAA4F-27B2-4407-AC72-4BBD2FCB6ED1}" It contains a .CAB file that seems to have the same name as every program.     - After almost 3 years problem w/ money2005 Please help. I have used Money Small Business 2005 for about 3 years. I download my financial information manually from my bank sucessfully until this week. I opened Money and in the reminders section of the home page it says I have 2 statements to read. I clicked on that and it shows 35 transactions in one checking account and 26 in the other. When I click on either account my register shows up minus the newly downloaded transactions.     - Automatic upgrades/updates - 2nd attempt RE: money 2007 Deluxe Whenever I open Money it attempts to contact Microsoft to look for program updates and upgrades. Not a problem at home with an always on broadband connection but it can be an expensive agrivation elsewhere. I frequently have to use a cell or satellite phone and have to wait for Money to communicate with "Mother" before I can do a update with the bank. With some sattelite connections lasting only a few minutes it often means I can't connect to the bank. Any way to defeat or turn this feature off? I've unchecked anything (no sponsorship or shopping links, no special offers) that looks like it may be causing this in the settings menu.     - Where do I go to provide feedback and requests for Money features? I have used Money 2003, 2004, and 2007, hoping with each version that they will fix basic problems, and the MS Money team never fails to disappoint. Generally, I'm quite pleased with all other MS products, and seldom need to research how to get something done... However, Money has to be the most "non-Microsoft" product that Microsoft produces! It works more like something I would expect from AOL or Apple. Each new version gets prettier, but it lacks basic functionality that ALL of their products have (like Copy-Paste functionality, export to standard MS file formats)! For example, with almost any MS product, I can right click over a line of text or a file, select "Copy", and paste it... Yet, I cannot copy a line of text from Money, which uses a balance sheet that looks like an Excel object, and copy it into Excel (WTF?!), and even if I could, using <SHIFT> to select multiple records doesn't work, so I'd have to do it line by line! I could go on, and on, and on, and on... Anybody know where I can submit feedback to MS, like "fire the development team!"? I've tried following links from Microsoft, but I never get to a form where I can actually submit feedback... If they don't fix this stuff, I'll just resort to storing all my financial data in a spreasheet, because at this point, it's easier to do... Thanks in advance...     - Two different kinds of backup files from manual and backup on exit Every time I exit Money I get backup files with names like qdata05 Backup d2_2008-01-09_121457 On the other hand if I use the back up function while Money is operating, the progress bar informs that the file is being compressed,then backed up I get files with names like my2005 backup D1 which are about 1/5 of the size my2005.MNY is the name of the actual money i file i open each time 2 questions... If I should ever need to restore a backup, would the compressed and uncompressed files (if created without any change made in between to the .mny file) produce the same results?     - Money File Issue I'm running Money 2007 and within the last six months my file--over seven years old--has cahnged itself to a temp file. It's named mbfED.tmp. I've tried to rename it to a regular money file and it will not open and I need to restore the back-up and it opens again with this name. I've also tried to re-name the back-up and it does the same thing. I've also tried to repair it with the Money repair utility and as soon as I selct repair Money closes automatically. Category? Account? classification? Type of transaction?
