This usually means that the DLL (mfc42.dll in this case) isn't the correct
one, or it can find two and is using the wrong one. Search the machine for
copies of mfc42.dll - the one in C:\Windows\system32 might have been
overwritten or you might find multiple versions of mfc42.dll .
