I'm trying to set up my Money 2002 accounts for the first time. I've
created a credit card account, and downloaded the transactions from my
bank's Visa site.
Problem is that there are many, many duplicated transactions. I
can't see any rhyme or reason to the duplications ... a few are not
duplicated at all, some a few times, and 15 duplications seems to be a
popular number!
The account balance, however, is correct.
Can anyone suggest what the problem is, and how I can correct it?

OFX download from a web site? QIF imported as a bank statement?

It downloads from the bank's web site as a .ofc file.

I have not used OFC files, and I don't think they use transaction
IDs to prevent duplication.

Isn't there a way on the bank's web site to limit the dates?

Is there a different choice for downloading available besides OFC?
Even QIF should be better regarding duplicates.

Also, if this problem occurs one time only, sort the register by
order of entry. Void the new ones, and delete those voided
duplicates later. If this is not solvable, I would seek a different
credit card. Others would stop downloading.
