I have Money 2001 Standard and since the beginning of 2004
when I download data from one of my checking accounts,
Money receives the data and changes the dates for my
automatic bank withdrawals to June instead of January. Is
this a problem with Money 2001. If so, can I upgrade from
2001 to 2004 and not lose the records I have in 2001?

Keep your file backups in case you want to restore to a point in
time.

You don't say you are doing automatic OFX download, but probably you
are. You can get a copy of OFX downloaded bank files by proceeding
until you see the "Connect" button. Hold down the Ctrl+Shift keys as
you click Connect. The file should be place in My Documents folder
as *RS.txt. The dates on OFX transactions are in the form
<DTPOSTED>yyyymmdd... and should have more digits for times. Are the
dates right or wrong on the transactions?

Yes, the transactions have the right dates in the text
file. Strange isn't it?

Are NEW transactions coming in with the wrong dates? If not, it
could be that the provider fixed the data. If Money gets the
corrected transaction with the same transaction ID, it would ignore
the transactions, figuring it had that already. That would be just a
transient problem you fix manually. To help find the problem
transactions, it is sometimes helpful to sort by order of entry.

If the problem continues with new transactions, an upgrade could be
a good solution.
