    - Equity in Options not appearing in reports??? Sorry, this may be a simple issue but I'm new to Money. I can't figure out why my vested stock option amounts aren't being included in any of Money's reports. The accounts are there in my portfolio, but when I print portfolio value reports they are not included. I've selected "all" accounts but the options acct doesn't even seem to be available..     - un-edit-able entry on investment acount??? MSM2003 on win2K sp4 I had a CD that I closed out (redeem CD) that I put as an entry into the program. The entry before and after I can edit, but clikcing on this single entry produces no reaction whatsoever. Why should an antry not allow me to ope it up for enditing?     - downloaded transactions dates are changing back to 2003 Here is an example: I made a payment to my credit card account on 01/02/04. The payment posted and Money *correctly* downloaded the transaction, with the proper date, and matched it to the existing transaction in the register. All is good so far. Today, I go to update from online statements and it downloads the same transaction again, but with a 01/02/03 date?!?!? And this isn't the first time this has happened.     - Can't Update Fidelity Online Services and Accounts I just upgraded Money 99 with Money 2004 Deluxe, in part because it stopped updating my Fidelity accounts some months ago. I was told then MS no longer supported Money 99 and I should upgrade. Anyway, with the new Money 2004 install, Online Services Manager indicates Fidelity Investments needs to be updated. After going through the motions of updating, the system indicates update for OFX02051 was successful and directs me to read a message from OFX02051 it. That message starts with one of those nerve jarring Windows "you made a mistake" sounds and says "C:\microsoft money\system\bds\USAFidelity Distributors Corporation\Info.htm" cannot be opened. Online Services Manager still shows Fidelity needs to be updates. Attempts to update my Fidelity accounts fail even though accounts with another brokerage are updated.     - Don't want retirement under investment account category Hi all, I've been trying to add my retirement account in M04. This account is a government plan based on percentage of salary, plus interest. I have no control over it, so I don't want it in the Investment Account section my my Accounts, as it throws off my portfolio.     - Account discrepancy One of my credit card accounts in Money 2004 has developed a multiple personality disorder. The balance displayed on the account register is $20.31. However, the Debt Reduction Planner shows that the account has an $821 balance; i.e., an $800 discrepancy, with rounding. I just received the most recent statement for the account. When I go to the Balance Account wizard, the 'total amount owed last month' (i.e., the opening balance) is $800 higher than it should be--and $800 higher than the 'total amount owed this month' (i.e., the closing balance). Although I can enter an $800 adjustment, this shouldn't be needed; the account's opening balance (from Spring 2003) is zero and there aren't that many transactions. I balanced fine with the last statement. And as of the closing date of the last statement, the balance is fine. It's a complete mystery. What would cause this? IMO, there is some kind of corruption with this account, at least. Are there any tools that can verify the integrity of an MNY file? Tag: Downgrade? Tag: 157472

    - Unable to re-install Money Deluxe 2004 I recently had to reformat my hard drive. My version of Money 2004 was a downloaded trial which I later purchased. After re-installing MM2004 I could not access the program because it "appeared" that the trial period had expired. I checked the email that was sent after the purchase and it only provided an Activation Code. I called Microsoft who after an hour admitted defeat and nformed me that the would send me a "real" installable version CD with a product key.     - downloaded bank statements do not appear in account register I have Money 2003 and when I download my bank transactions they import but when I try to review the statement the screen goes to the account register but nothing appears.     - Strange Happenings I just upgraded to windows xp and reinstalled Money 2000. Now, whenever I open money, I get a message under header msmoney.exe : "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk in drive e". (e is my dvd/cd drive). I simply click on cancel and the program continues on. The warning, and my having to clear it, occurs for every page change in money.     - 401k deposits I have three mutual funds that comprise my retirement portfolio. Each fund gets an automatic deposit every two weeks. I can't figure out how to set my funds up for recurring deposits.     - Tracking mortgage escrow accout Has anyone setup an account to track the impound/escrow account used to pay taxes, insurance in Money.     - transferring money 99 files to money 2001 Hello, I just bought a new computer with XP and Money 2001. Currently, all of my financial information is in my Money 99 files on my old computer. I saved my money 99 files to a cd and tried to open them in my new money 2001, and I received this message: "Money cannot locate 'E:Msmoney' or cannot open it possibly because it is a read-only file or your disk drive is write protected. If you have chosen the correct file and it cannot be accessed, you will need to open your most recent backup file." What does this mean? All that I want to do is transfer all of my financial information from my old computer with Money 99 to my new computer with XP and Money 2001. How do I do this?     - Bug with Money 2004 and Balance Pop-up I have had a problem a couple of times when I try to balance an account. I enter the Ending Balance and Interest and the next button will not work. I cancel try again, same thing. It is a hit and miss thing. Sometimes closing money will work or a reboot will work. Has this been reported or is there a work-around? I upgraded from 2002 and it seems like there is a lot of little bugs like this every where. The Refresh after printing checks it a little heavy on the resource and flickers quite a bit.     - MS Money 2000 and 2004 download formats question Please help. I just started using Money 2000, and found that the "Memo" and "Payee" information is entered into the wrong fields.     - new transactions match on old, cleared transactions Is there any way to stop the attempted match of new downloaded bank transaction against old, cleared transactions? This happens constantly and makes no sense - if a transaction is marked as 'C', it shouldn't be matched against a new transaction. I don't want to have to manually 'unmatch' each of these, but I also don't want to turn off matching altogether since I do want new transactions to match against un-cleared transactions when appropriate.     - Online Update seems to fail In my Portfolio section, I choose to "Update Stocks Online," and although the screen seems to go through its usual machinations of calling and completing the contact, the updates do not occur. My last update was 12/6; I've been able to update critical prices online by clicking through to the stock reports, and then entering prices manually.     - Account balance discrepancies I have noticed that of 7 investment accounts after I Get Online Statements 3 of the 7 accounts show different amounts between Bank Balance and Local Balance. 1 is as little as $20, but the other 2 are in the $1000's... I can do adjustments to the cash account to get that to agree, but how is it possible to do that with the investment account itself? I am sure it probably has to so with splits or reorgs..There way to many transactions in one of the accounts to even try to look thru it and see what it could be.     - Billpay and Brokerage Account I registered for MSN (Checkfree) Billpay and registered my core cash account of my Fidelity Brokerage Account. However, when completing set-up from within MS-Money, this core cash account is not one of the available bank accounts from which I can initiate payments.     - GM Card and Direct Services (2-Way) I'm trying to setup online services for a GM credit card in M03. Has anyone done this successfully, for Direct Services (2-Way)? GM/(Household Bank)'s helpful tech support say they support Direct Services (2-Way), they even verified this a second time. Unfortunately, Money doesn?t have them in their list of financial institutions. After pointing tech support to the list on Money's website, they acknowledged that 'Household Bank ... does not seem to be currently listed'. They suggested I contact Money Support directly to address this. Strangely, though, in M03, I see an entry for Household Credit Services (even more strange, though, this entry is not on the Money web site). So, I selected this, but got a message "No online services available for Household Credit Services". I'm suspicious this is a case of GM Card/Household Bank actually working with Direct Services (2-Way), but for some unknown reason Microsoft removed them from the financial institution list.     - Quicken 2002 to Money 2004 I have just converted my Quicken 2002 data (about 12 years worth) to Money 2004. All my stocks have an investment type of mutual funds, even the stocks in Quicken with the type set to "Stock". I do have many user added types, but I am not concerned with these. If this a bug? Provided it is the same version and the same geography. e.g. both M2004 and
US.

You will get warnings when Standard first looks at your file that you are
going to lose the Business functionality.
