I tried to set up an online account with GENETSERVICE in Money 2005, but
Money won't let me set it up without a Passport.net account. I do not want
a passport account, is there a way around this?

I don't see them listed at
http://www.microsoft.com/money/bankonline.aspx Perhaps they are
referenced under a different name?

https://www.genetservice.com/GE_Commercial/ss_faq_outside.jsp does
say they provide QIF download via their web site, and that would not
actually require and setup for Money.

Presumably that's the only way that particular financial institution is
supported (as a Yodlee account). If so, then Passport is a requirement.

That provider apparently does not directly support Money. The only way to
download the information is through a service provided by a Microsoft
partner, Yodlee. Doing so requires a passport.

So the question is, which do you want more? No passport? Or downloading from
that provider? That's the choice you have to make.
