You enter the finance charges MANUALLY!!! As for downloads, you will find
that many financial institutions do not list finance charges in the same
manner as purchases, payments, overlimit fees, CA fees, etc. In this event,
when you download your statement, your not going to get the finance charge
in your ledger (I don't have Discover but what I am discussing is common).
In this case, look at your statement online via your browser, enter the
finance charge MANUALLY, then download your statement. Whether you have
your program set to automatically accept transactions or not and also
whether it's set to automatically reconcile or not, if the above is the
case, you'll need to right-click on your finance charge entry and then point
to "Mark As" and then "Reconciled".
