I had an old old version of Money on my old computer and loved it. I have
purchased the new version of Money and Quicken and I hate them.
Unfortunately I have lost my original disks for the old version. Anyone know
where I can get the old version from -- things are bouncing in my
account!!!!!

Your best bet is to look on eBay.

But be warned that an old version cannot read your money file as produced by
the current version.

The only way is to find the copy of the money file that was made at the time
you upgraded, open that with the old version (when you find one) and then
reinput ALL transactions from the time you upgraded to date!

Can you be more specific than "old"? Do you remember what version you're
talking about? And what is the operating system you want to run it on? Have
you considered that the "old" software might not run on your operating system?

I have an old copy, version 5.0, that I got when I had the Windows 95
operating system. I still use version 5.0 now, but I haven't upgraded from
Windows 98 yet. I'm probably going to have to upgrade to Vista soon, and I
just assumed my old version 5.0 software won't run on it.

What is more, my copy of that software is on a 3x5 disk. Today's computers
won't use those, will they? Or will they if you have an external A drive like
I have for my old laptop?

If I knew for sure I wasn't going to use it, I'd sell it cheap.
