Decode these abbreviations in downloads

Many of my debit card entries at Bank of America, downloaded into Money,
have descriptions like:

SOU THE HOME DEPOT <numbers>

or

SOU JCPENNEY STORE

Does anyone know what "SOU" means? I haven't wanted to "sou" the JCPenney
store lately.

Second, there are a lot of DES entries:

CHASE DES:EPAY ID:<numbers>

CAPITAL ONE DES:ONLINE PAYMENT ID:<numbers>

Designation? Designer? Desultory? Destroy?

Being the curious kind of computer programmer that I am, I would just like
to know what these abbreviations mean. Any insight?

It usually means "Statement of Understanding" in financial terms...

Wild guess... does either term correspond to where you signed or
not?

I would suggest asking BofA, since they are the ones that included that
description.

No, lots of places say "SOU", but the previous reply says it's probably
"Statement of Understanding". I don't know "DES" yet for sure though.
