Re: BOA Credit Card Statement not downloading by Tom

Art: OK, I went ahead and set up a new default 'base' file (using
Virualization software) under MS Money 2005. Then I tried importing my BOA
credit card statement. It gave me the little dialog box asking me which
account this statement is tied to, then went ahead and imported the file
without any problem! Imported every transaction and they now show up in the
register!
Which leads me back to my 'normal' Money file. I think I know what is going
on but can't seem to resolve it. Basically, my BOA accounts show up with the
little 'lightning' bolt next to them, which I think says they are an
'online' account. However, I never do anything online with these accounts
except download OFX files directly from teh BOA web server. Therefore, what
I think I need to do is either (1) Disassociate my BOA accounts (or at least
the credit card account) with online setup and then either reassociate them
or just not associate them at all, or (2) Do something that causes the BOA
credit card account to again pop up that little dialog box during the OFX
import which asks which account this OFX download is associated with. If I
can get that far then I think it will re-associate itself with the credit
card account and all will be well.
However, try as I might, I can figure out how to dis-associate these
accounts - either make the lightning bolt go away or cause the credit card
account to once again ask me which account the OFX file is associated with.
I've fiddled around with various options and even tried some things that I
found out on the forum/web but nothing seems to work. Do you happen to know
the steps for this? Also, I assume that the lightning bolt means that the
account is online - do I really need this if all I am ever doing is
downloading transactions via OFX?
Thanks for any help.
