My main Money file will not open and seems to be corrupted. It says that the
password is not recognized - although it is correct. I tried to run salv.exe
but it tells me the same thing - password not regognized. If I run Standrad
repair inside of Money (I first opened a test file) - it says that it "the
utility cannot repair the file".

Any other suggestions? My backup file is at home and I am out if town for
another week.

If your version of Money is older than Money 2006, try the "Download
the M06-Repair.exe package now" method from
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/902466

If your version of Money is Money 2006 or newer, be glad that Money
saves the last four backups by default, and that could be increased.
So try File-Restore of the newest or the second-newest backup.

If salv.exe does not fix it for an older version, try restoring the
backup(s) that you have.
