I currently have an American Express Card which offers direct statement
downloads into Money
I'm not really happy with the rewards offers associated and want to switch
to a Chase Amazon.com Visa
Does this offer direct downloads into Money or do I need to go through the
chase site and download the statement ?

Thanks
Jeff

Go to
http://www.microsoft.com/money/bankonline.aspx?FirstLetter=A&FinananceOrganisationType=CreditCardProvidersOnly#51
and chose American Express. Note the description. It does not say
"web". It does not say "third party".

Then click to other prospective credit cards and contrast the
descriptions.

Carl

Thanks
The Amazon.com Chase Card is not listed, but Chase is
Under the details it simply says

Statements
You can also use this bank's bill payment service from within Microsoft Money

Direct Services are the fastest, easiest way to connect with your financial
institution and have your statements automatically downloaded into Money
directly from your financial institution.

I'm somewhat unclear
Does this mean Chase Cars offer Direct Services or is it simply information
about Direct Services?

Yes that is what the phrase means, since it is not accompanied by
the phrase "by a third party".

I do not have an opinion whether the "Amazon.com Chase Card" is the
same as a Chase card.

While a regular Chase card provides direct downloads, Chase charges
$10/month for that service. Before signing up with Amazon Chase, you should
call them and ask what services they provide and what is the fee they charge
for those services.

I have an Amazon Chase Card and receive downloads to Money Plus for free.
Yes, you set it up as a Chase Credit Card. I just called them and asked.
No mention of any changes.
