    - Transfers between accounts I am having a problem with transferring money between accounts at different banks, when I transfer money between accounts at my primary bank (BOA) the transaction shows up at the same time in each account, money in money out on the same day, however when I transfer to accounts at other institutions (or pay a credit card) there is a lag between the time the money leaves BOA and when it shows up somewhere else, usually about 1-3 days. This causes problems when I download statements from both places, if I mark the money leaving BOA as a transfer to the other account then the money is added to that account register immediately, then when I download the statement from the account that I am transferring to it shows up twice in the register... this can be a real hassle to track down and fix.     - Grrr...Budget and Debt in Money 2004 Whenever I create a new budget, things seem to be just right. In the "Enter Your Expenses" screen of creating a new budget, all of my loan payments (car, house, studen loans) show up under the budget group Debt. These are scheduled monthly bills to the mortgage company, banks for the car loans, student loans, etc. They showed up here automatically as I would expect. Now, whenever I finish the budget and then go in to look at my current status against the budget, things get very bizarre. When I'm looking at my actuals vs. my budgeted amounts I see a "Special" budget group that has two entries. The first is Debit and the second is "transfers out of budget accounts". For the budgeted amount of the debts category for the month of June, I only see 171.55. Whenever I created the budget, the debt was approximately $3k. My first thought was reinstall. The Money CD started and then said there was a problem with Norton Antivirus. Neither MSFT or Norton's site revealed a solution. I uninstalled both Norton products.     - Unaccepted electronic transactions I have upgraded to Money 2004. I download into my Palm using Ultrasoft Money. After the upgrade the balance on my Palm and the transactions do not list 'unaccepted electronic transactions'. Ultrasoft advise using their repair facility to highlight the transactions involved. HOWEVER, once i had done that I find that the tranasctions have already been accepted, are not in bold (as unaccepted transactions normally are) but still show the accept button on the transaction. Pressing the accept button makes no difference and even re downloading the transactions from the bank and re-accepting it also makes no difference. How do I get this 'bug??' sorted?     - Reverse Printing of Checks My checks feed into my 7550 printer in the correct order, but blank side of the page facing upward in the paper tray. The general settings on my computer call for printing documents in reverse order so that when printing is finished, word documents are in order 1,2,3,4 ...etc. when lifted from the drying tray. When I print checks in money, there is no similar setting for check printing, so the checks enter the printer in the order on the check, e.g. 2001,2002, 2003, etc, but the program records them as 2003,2002, 2001, etc. The net effect is that the number on the check doesn not match the number as recorded in the program. Anyone have any ideas how to solve this one, short of shuffling the checks into reverse oreder before they are placed in the printer for printing, or changing the setting for general printing outside of money each time I need to print a series of checks.. -- William L.     - Corrupt Data file I am at a loss and hope that someone can help me. Thanks ahead of time for all the posts and feed back! I can't open my money data file. When I open it it says: Money has detected that yoy did not close the file "Jens Financial Info" before exiting. Money now needs to verify the information in your file. If your file is large, this may take a few minutes. Do you wish to do this now? I then click on yes and the file doesn't open. It give me a box to either open a file, restore a backup, or recover a file. If I try to recover the file using the Super salvage tool either from Money or the one that I downloaded it says that the file can not be recovered. If I look at the log file for the Salvage tool then it says: No broken records in the original file. I tried to recover from the latest backup file, it recovers from like six months ago. I told Money to automaticaly backup but apparently it isn't working. I have installed Money on my other machine to test if it is the computer but I can't get it to open the file either. This file holds all of my invoices and all financial data from the last 4 years and I need to try to get this information back. Please Help. If it matters, here are all of the files in the directory that I store the data file. I recently upgraded to money 2004 Deluxe from the trial
version. I recently reinstalled my system and need to
reinstall money. I can't get the trial version to
upgrade. I have my activation number and I found a
knowledge base article about this. However after I follow
the link, put in my activation code and hit submit, I get
a HTTP 500 Internal Server Error. Does someone have the
correct link so I can redownload this???

I had that same problem a couple weeks ago. I tried it again and again with
no luck. Then the next day it was working again, and told me I had exceeded
my maximum number of downloads and needed to purchase the software again.
Pretty slick, huh?
