I have a 529 plan that, my broker says, does not have ticker symbol. He did
give me a CUSIP number. Is there a way to add this invetment by the CUSIP
number rather than the ticker symbol?

There is a way to define the investment and leave the Symbol blank.
You could add the CUSIP into a comment.

If you later do OFX download of that security, the CUSIP will be
involved, but it will be fairly hidden. It is important in that case
that you identify that the download investment is the same one that
you already entered.

FWIW, bonds have a field for their CUSIP and Money treats the CUSIP as a
ticker symbol.
