    - How Can You Delete a Downloaded Bank Statement For some reason the most recent bank statement I've downloaded from my bank, money is showing as new transactions but they are actually in my account and already marked as E (electronically cleared) so I don't why it is doing this.     - Corrupted Internet Updates Any idea why there have been so many corrupted Internet updates in Deluxe 2004 lately? I lost over 50 transactions a couple weeks ago and tonight it crashed getting another 62. Until about a month ago, I haven't had any problems. But now I'm going to have to manually enter over 100 transactions for the past month. I'll flush my IE browser cache again, but this is getting frustrating.     - Posting Messages - Text problem If I just keep typing as if I was in a word processing application in = the supplied 'Message Box', if appears to scroll me nicely to a new line = whenever required. However as you can see above, after adding my message to the newsgroup, it displays my text as a single long line!! For this particular paragraph, I have entered the Return Key myself to ensure lines of reasonable length. What's the secret to having it done automatically.     - Accidentally deleted indexes from update Hi, I am using Money 2003 and I accidentally deleted the quote updates for Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI), NAS/NMS COMPSITE (^IXIC), S&P 500 INDEX (^GSPC).     - Why wont it let me get in? I keep receiving the following message when ever I try to login into the passport services for Money which is almost a requirement as all my personal banking is now done online. I receive this dialog: The sign-in attempt for <insert email> was unsuccessful. Pleas try your sign-in name and password again. Sure I can still get in offline but doesn't Microsoft want to develop a product that can easily sign on? I do have a residential router setup but I never have any problems signing into any of the other passport services. I have double checked to make sure that I was signed into MSN's homepage before trying to sign in to Money. Yes my username & passport is correctly and I have also tried logging out and in to MSN's homepage with Internet Explorer. This is the first weekend I am heavily using Money before I was just using my banking's website to do all my banking but I desire now something that can track my history. I have used Money for weekends in the past before and it always has given me sign in problems (over the past 6 months) and I would think Microsoft would fix something like that so the problem is probably with me.     - Money 98 I have been using this program all week, printing out the register without a hitch. Yesterday, this error came up: This operation cannot be performed. I was going to reinstall the software and see if that helped but my CD doesn't have the reinstall software...it was installed at Dell. The way I have been viewing and running this report is: Accounts - Register - Reports - Spending habits - Account Transactions.     - Account register- Automatic Catagories? Hi all: I have a question about the account register...just started using my Money 2002 again. When I download account activity from my checking account, there is quite a bit of information already in each trasaction. Then I try and clean up the month's transactions, and when I change one transaction, Money automatically updates a whole bunch (almost all) of others. So, if I change one transaction payee to "Gas Station," all of the sudden a bunch of debits from the grocery store become "Gas Station" purchases as well.     - problems viewing transactions after downloading Although account statements download properly and show up on screen, Money will not allow me to view and therefore accept the transactions into the register. When you go to the accounts area it shows the account with the number of transactions in brackets with the current date of the download, but will not allow access to view them. Can anyone help?     - Rounding error on invoices There is a significant rounding error in MSMo 2004 Small Business in the invoice section. Apparently, MSMo cannot handle fractions of a cent. For example, the IRS mileage allowance this year is $0.375/mile and if one charges this amount back to their customer, MSMo has to round up the $0.375 to $0.38. Oops!     - Money Canadian confuse investement across account I have Money Delux 2000 Canadian and find out it makes confuse about investment across different account. For example I hold NT stock in different account (my wife and my RRSP account), but it caculate the return and performance based on the single stock, not based on the accunt. It even distribute the cost of the stock into the two account, no matter how it was invested differently into the account. It doesn't make sense at all!     - Anyone else see a leap year bug? We are paid at the end of the month. For February, Money 2004 is doubling our salary and all deductions taken out.     - High Processor Utilization with Money 2001 When I run Money 2001 my CPU utilization goes up to 100%. This happens when an active field is highlighted - ie a new withdrawal form, even if I'm not doing anything. If I click on a non-Money window, processor utilization falls away, even though the programme is still running. This is an issue for me at the moment as I am having hardware problems which cause my machine to crash at 100% utilization. However, it is not ideal at any time. I can't see why the programme should use so much processor. I use XP Pro at the moment However it I noticed this high ulilization when using ME and also on other PCs. Since the investment has been deleted, why is Money still keeping a record of this investment? This deleted investment has not been used in any transactions.     - Microsoft Money Printing After I "upgraded" to Quicken Personal Plus 2002SE I found I could no longer print with colour in reports. Putting this down to my ancient printer and driver troubles I grizzled a bit but carried on. Recently I "upgraded" to Quicken Personal Plus 2004, which wasn't worth the money and still wouldn't print in colour. I just bought a HP multi-function printer (brilliant hardware with truly atrocious software). To get it working proerly I had to rebuild my Win2K PC from scratch, which of course led me into the Quicken re-registration minefield. After finally getting Quicken 2004 re-installed & working it still doesn't print in colour. During my re-registration battle I found out from Quicken support that colour printing in reports had been deliberately removed from the product. Now I've just discovered that Quicken does't actually use the negative format from Windows regional settings either so you're stuck with -$x,xxx, like it or not. Frankly, this is unforgiveable and just about the last straw. As I'm making much more use of reporting now I'm not content to simply grizzle any longer - I need proper reporting. All of which explains why I'd like to know if the version of Microsoft Money on sale in Australia will print in colour (or even color <grin>) and if it's reporting abilities are any good. Maybe a Quicken user out there knows how to change the format of negative numbers in reports. As a Quicken user of more than ten years, it'd be a wrench to change but really I've about had it with Intuit.     - line of credit - checking acct overdraft protection i set up a line of credit acct in money 2003 tied to my checking account. this is credit card acting like an overdraft protection acct. if i overdraw my chekcing acct, it deposits money into the checking acct. cannot figure out how to track this in money. should i do it as with a credit card - track the "expense" (deposits into my checking acct) in the line of credit acct, and then treat the payments to the line of credit account from the checking acct as transfers?     - Money 2003 Archival problem Computer=DELL Inspiron 2650 running Windows SP Home Version, and EOM loaded Money 2003 Ver 11.0. When attempting to archive everything prior to 1/1/2003, a diagnostic window comes up that says: This disk where :A:\2002Archive.mny" is being stored is full. You need to make room on your disk by removing files you no longer need. The floppy is clean and reformatted. I am able to copy files to the floppy; therefore, the diagnostic can't be a physical or OS problem. The issue is within Money 2003. DELL doesn't provide tech support for OEM software and neither does MicroSoft. Have you previously heard of this problem? Do you know how to resolve the issue? Thank you for any help you can provide.     - Categories Reassigned when importing I have switched my Money 2002 files to a different computer, and when I open the files, anything that was in a custom category has been reassigned to one of Money's default categories. The new categories aren't even close to being correct. For instance, all receipts that used to be in the Auto:Fuel subcategory are now in Auto: Loan Principal Receieved. Also, my custom categories no longer appear in the categories list. I am running Money 2002 on a Windows XP machine, and I sync my Money files with my Pocket PC. I have the same problem. What should be a simple task becomes
a nightmere. Somehow the budget thinks I'm going to pay
$14,000 this month and it makes all the projections for debt
reduction absurd. Any solutions to this problem?
