I download my transactions every week or so and am wondering if there is a
way to have microsoft money 2004 automatically assign a category to a
transaction that occurs frequently. For example, I have assisgned a
food:dining out category to Ground Round numerous times already. Is there a
way to have money automatically assign the food:dining out category to it in
the future when I download it? Thanks

Hmm... that's odd. For me, whenever I download a transaction from a
vendor that I've used before, whatever the last thing I categorized
it as automatcially shows up. It doesn't do it the first time, but every
subsequent time it does it.

You might want to make sure that you've got AutoComplete turned on.
In M04, it's in Tools->Options under the Editing tab.
