I am using Money2002. Approx 3-4 weeks ago, the auto updates for all of my
preferred share investments (on the TSX) stopped updating. The price column
is blank, resulting in a market value of $nil.

The auto update works fine for all of my common share investments (on the
TSX).

The same problem persists in other 'Money' files I have to monitor other
investments. (ie. the preferred shares have stopped being updated
automatically and the equity ones work fine). Therefore it is not a file
specific issue.

I can manually update the prices and the market value is calculated
properly. I have tried removing the stock symbol and having Money find the
link (it can find the preferred share ok and it assigns the proper stock
symbol). I then tried to auto update and price appears as blank.

Any ideas? It is odd that only the preferred shares are affected and not
the common shares.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

It's possible those quotes are no longer available. If that is the
case, you could blank the symbols and enter the prices manually.
What are some of the securities with the problem?

I am able to get the quotes if I enter the symbol at any of the online
investing sites.
Unfortunately, the stocks are not autoupdating. I also tried entering a
"-T" at the end for the TSX, no difference.

Some of the securities with the problem are:
1) Bank of Nova Scotia Pref Ser13 - symbol - BNS.PR.K
2) BNS Split Corp II - symbol - BSC.PR.A

Thanks for your help

Try entering that symbol as CA:BNS.PR.K

Try entering that symbol as CA:BSC.PR.A

I tried entering "CA:" before the symbol and pressing "Done" button. When I
do this it removes the "CA:" and leaves the remaining symbol. On the imput
screen, the Country is set as Canada.

Any other ideas?
