Microsoft Money 2005 Premium Edition

I have four different accounts with Ameritrade, most of the time they
do NOT update at all, once in a while one of the accounts might
update (different one every time) but the update would be three days
behind the current date. Like today, Nov. 2 one account updated to
Oct. 30th, the other three had 'update unsuccessful' .

This has been a problem for about two months now, Ameritrade confirmed
a problem with their server at that time and told me that they were
'working with Microsoft' to fix the problem.

It appears just by working with Microsoft they also imbibed M$
philosophy of indifference to public complaints, therefore, nothing
has been accomplished in the last two months from the customer point
of view.

Anyone knows any more about this issue?

Matt

I am having the same problem, but mine is slightly different, I have two
different accounts at Ameritrade with two different login names. So I have
to manually change the login name for each time I want one or the other
account to update. (I.e. one will work fine, but money doesn't seem to have
the option to have two different login and passwords for the same financial
institution so I have to change it every time I want to automatically update
the account)

I believe that Ameritrade only downloads transactions that have
"cleared"after the mandatory three settlement days. That explains the three
day lag in downloads. As far as trouble accessing Ameritrade's transactions
via Money, I had trouble for several days this fall as well, but they must
have gotten the problem fixed because I haven't had any issues since.

Cheers

I don't have a problem with Ameritrade updates, My account is always updating
and downloading the transactions. The problem I have is that I can't seem to
find a way to have two Ameritrade accounts at the same time. Every time I
try to add one account it removes the password for the other. When I go to
the Passwords manager it only has one ameritrade account so I have to
continually change the login so that it will update the other account.

I have several accounts that have multiple login's - though they are
Credit Card related. It asked me when I added a second account if it
uses at a different login ID and Password and I respond yes. When it
redisplays back, the Company is Idenfied something link BANK and BANK
