msn 6 NOT working

I installed msn 6 today, and everything works fine..
except that I can't send messages! When I try to send
someone a message, I automatically get a "could not be
delivered to recipient thing" I know there's nothing wrong
with my connection. I had the old version this morning and
everything was working fine. I tried uninstalling msn 6
hoping my 5 would come back but it uninstalled everything
and now there's nowhere I can get version 5 again. I don't
know when version 6 was released but I am already NOT
happy with it as it has been extremely frustrating! It's
full of bugs, I want my 5 back!
