Does anyone know how to set up the voice on the MSN with
a MN-700 router?

I think that I have to have triggered ports but I have no
idea what the incomming and outgoing ports should be and
how it should be triggered.

Thanks for your help.

Greetings Steve,

No trigger ports anything of the like should be necessary (if you have set some for
Messenger, remove them, as they will conflict). The MN-700 supports Universal Plug and Play
(UPnP), and as such, Messenger will automatically open and forward the necessary ports on its
own, without any configuration. The problem is most likely not on your side, but rather on
your contacts, however, can you be more specific about what your problem is -- is it that you
can't actually connect to your contact? or just that you can't hear them?

The problem may also lie in a glitch/bug in MSN messenger as it seems half
the people in the world cant get voice to work....

Hi Lawrence,

Well then the bug must be around since the voice feature was first convinced back in 3.x =)

More to the point, Microsoft application, Microsoft router, these things *are* tested and
verified to work together.
