I was signed into msn messenger 7.5 this afternoon, but i cannit sign in this
evening with my @hotmail.co.uk account. Curiously, my @hotmail.com account is
ok.

This is exactly the same for web messenger and msn messenger.

The pc is stable and no changes have been made - guaranteed!!

So what is the difference between the hotmail.com and hotmail.co.uk
accounts? why would one work and one not? Both were working successfully
earlier today.

thanks
Ian

Hi Ian,

What's the exact message you're getting when you try?

hi Johnathan

MSN Messenger was reporting error code error 81000306.
Web Messenger just said it was signing in, just at that point forever unless
you hit the can cel button.

Both started working abshortly after my posting and are working fine today.
No changes on my part, PC was not updated or changed.

Why would one account work (@hotmail.com) and not the other (@hotmail.co.uk)?

Hi,

The accounts are stored on different servers (albeit in the same location), so, if one were
down or unable for instance, you might get errors like this.
