On one of my laptops with windows 2000 server sp3 I am
unable to log into hotmail or msn. It is running IE6 sp1.
By going to www.msn.com and clicking on hotmail or going
dirrectly to www.hotmmail.com, it dirrectly brings up an
error message: "The .NET Passport service is currently
unavailable at this Web site for one of these reasons:
The site may contain error or be experiencing a problem
that affects the .net passport service. The site may not
be an official .NET Passport particvipating site.

I know that neither one is the case, because I can get to
my hotmail account from any other machine on our network.
If I try to create a new account on problem laptop, it
says that I am already logged in, but does not allow to
see my mailbox.
It feels as if cookies not being deleted, or corrupt
certificate or some other file.

I need to be able to access email from this laptop while
on the road. The problem excibits the same on the network
as well as while dialed-up.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
