Yes you can, but not very easily.
For the video component, what you have to do is open a conversation window to each person
individually, and then press the Alt key on the keyboard to bring up the menubar in each
window, click the Actions menu, then Video and then Show my webcam (or Request). Messenger
allows you to share and receive video from multiple people at once using this method (the
Video Call function does not allow this).
Then for the audio, you'll need to use another application entirely, like Skype
(www.skype.com). Luckily getting everyone into a group audio conversation in Skype is
slightly easier.
So, it's a lot of work, but it can actually work out.
