one sised audio problem

Hi there,
I am having a problem with one of my 2 contacts. We can BOTH connect to
other people and have 2 way audio conversations perfectly but when we
connect with each other I can only hear them, they cannot hear me although
my mic is working fine. I was running a D-Link router/firewall and thought
that was the problem so I removed it and am now running the latest
Zonealarm. Still no luck, so I shut off Zonealarm briefly to try and still
no luck so to me it seems it is not a firewall problem. We are both running
6.2. Any help would be appreciated.
