I have installed the new messenger. And in the chat window there is a
search button... this is just taking up space on my small screen on
this laptop. In fact so much room (if you include the advert) that its
difficult to do anything else on the computer at the same time.

Do you know any way to remove the new search button so that i can make
the "typing" window smaller (like in the previous versions) I have
tried useding the search button... but cannot think of any practical
use of it... whats the point of sending links that you haven't checked?

I hope that somebody knows the answer... because if I cant find a way
then it's back to the previous version.

There is no official way to do this, but with the Mess Patch, you can
remove several elements of MSN Messenger. You can get it here:
