windows messenger will not sign in gives error message of 24 and has yellow
It says there is a problem with vthe parallel port mark besides par port.
Any ideas to fix?

Greetings,

I assume you mean Key Ports (yes I know you're translating). This just means that Messenger
can't connect to its service on either port 1860 or 80, and 443 (all TCP if you're interested
or know what that means).

Assuming you're in a normal networking environment, this usually means you're using a
software firewall which is blocking Messenger. You may want to completely disable or
uninstall any firewall programs you have to see if this is the problem. Please note that the
Windows firewall will not block Messenger like this.
