Thanks for the links as I too was looking for them.
I think what the problem is is that if you follow certain paths to get to
the downloads you get lead to nowhere.
For instance, if you go to
http://messenger.msn.com and select MSN Messenger
for other Devices, the is a link to PocketPC. If you select it, you are
brought to a page that shows a couple of download links but they just take
you to the generic Windows Mobile site at
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/products/pocketpc/default.mspx .
There is a downloads link there with a list of Microsoft downloads but MSN
Messenger is absemt.
What I think is part of the problem is there doesn't seem to be any link
from
http://messenger.msn.com to browse to
http://messenger.msn.com/Help/Upgrades.aspx (at least I can't find it).
