When Itry to create a .net passport/live ID account for a friend using his
existing email account it keeps giving an error for the email address. His
address after the @ is the problem. It is @orange.fr, but if I try a
different ISP, say @free.fr, it moves on to the next step OK. It seems to
think that @orange.fr is an illegal extension resrverd for use by Microsofts
accounts.
anyone else had problems?
Cheers,
dave

Greetings Dave,

Well there are a variety of addresses which have been reserved by the owners or otherwise not
allowed. For awhile gmail was even blocked due to an error.
