    - Application Sharing missing in MSN Messenger 7.0 Hi All, I am having trouble with MSN Messenger 7.0. I have installed it from the http://messenger.msn.com website and it runs fine. However, the "Application Sharing" "Whiteboard" features are missing. I have seen some answers to previous problems. One solution was to check the registry for the entry "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Pol=ADicies\Microsoft\Messenger\Clie=ADnt key"...I do not have an entry for "Messenger" under the "Microsoft" folder. I then saw a "remoteassistance.reg" file that could be added. I can receive files from everyone else and I can send him files but every time he tries to send me a file this is the message that I receive ... tried to send you a file (devil-1280-1024.jpg).     - downloads in messenger hey, i am upset. really. is there a way to change the downloads in msn messenger? maybe a different window or somewhere else because it is very hard to find the download in a chat window. when the download is slow and you write a lot its very difficult to find the download again (check on status and so on).     - MSN Messenger 7.0 - Annoying new features I just downloaded MSN Messenger 7.0, and I found a bunch of new features I liked, like Personal messages for contacts. and Nudges. Unfortunately, I hate clutter on my computer; I'd rather dispose of a button I would use then have one sitting there that I wouldn't use. Imagine my disappointment when I found that there were new buttons (like the MSN Today Link, the My Space Link, the "Click to Create a Dynamic Display Picture" link, the search button in the chat window, etc.) and they couldn't be hidden, like past new features I knew I would never use (display pictures, tabs, etc.). Imagine my horror when I saw that two of the useless features that I hated having before in MSN Messenger 6 (the Add a Contact Button and the Search box in the Contact list window), which could be hidden in earlier versions, were now there permanently. Now, I'm not saying that these new features are bad. I think that they're good ideas for some people; I just personally would never use them, and I dislike the clutter they cause. What I'm upset about is that they can't be hidden. Please, in future versions, add the ability to hide these annoying new features. This started a while back, (05-01-05) and it's REALLY becoming a major problem.     - latest messenger is rubbish i installed 7.0 but when i did the registration it told me that i had to change my email address as someone else had it which was ME but that was as far as i could go so i deleted 7.0 and installed 6.2 in the hope that my problem would be solved but on log in i was told that i had to download 7.0 because of security issues. all i want is to be able to get to my hotmail quickly and if i cannot do this then messenger is unnecessary to me and a waste of space. if the makers of messenger 7.0 cannot resolve these issues then i am gone to another messenger service 1 which isn't such a hassle.     - MSN Messenger connection issues Since yesterday, I have had troubles logging in with MSN Messenger. I am able to log in and I get my contacts list, but it shows everyone (when I'm sure that they are online) as offline.     - IM 7 Traffic Issue Several users have installed IM 7. Our proxy server is logging MB's upon MB's of traffic from IM 7. One user one day was well over 500MB. I think it is happening when they use the nudge feature. Definately a bug of some form, but using a nudge is the only common part between users with the issue. The problem goes away once they sign out and then sign back in. At least until the nudge is used again. Nothing found in the KB. Anyone have any thoughts or anyone experiencing the same thing??     - Recent problems with URLs. My domain 'http://www.scripters.be' is blocked in any message i send to my friends. This is a problem that started occuring a short while ago. I have not yet upgraded to MSN 7, since i am quite happy with less 'features' (MSN 6.2 here, latest build) When i sent out a message containing anything with 'scripters.be' in it, the message never arrives and upon investigating with nstuffplug i noticed the switchboard closes the connection instantly. When I select it in the "Audio Video Tuning Wizard" the image is fine--what apppears in the wizard is what i see through the camera's viewfinder. whenever i go on msn explorer i click on online contacts
and then view my contacts online. it goes into it but
after like 4 seconds it stuffs up and a window comes up
saying msn messenger not replying. this really annoing,
