Msn messenger contact list

my messenger list has been full for the last one year and
when someone add's me in messenger i have to delete one
account is there a way i can add more then 150 contacts?
if not is MSN MESSENGER planning to increase the limit of
the contact list?

You cannot add more then 150 contacts and there are no plans that I'm aware of to increase
the limit (in the near future).

There is one other option to consider...if running XP, use Windows Messenger as well as MSN Messenger

You would need to use a separate Passport account for Windows Messenger, which might be a pain. But one of the benefits (as an example) would be to group all of your work contacts in Windows Messenger and friends/family in MSN Messenger. Be shown online for one, shown offline for the other, etc

But the bottom line: now you can have up to 300 contacts. You just have to split 150/150 between the two apps.

You could download NoRoom's Listcleaner from www.mess.be.....

"This program can detect which contacts have deleted you from their contact
lists, and you can manually choose to delete them from your Contact List,
Reverse List, Allow List or Block List. Each email address you delete will
remove about 40~50 characters from the data sent when receiving a new list
on sign-in, which will result in speeding up sign-in process."

Unless of course you speak to every single contact on your list....you
popular popular guy :o)

I have used it and looking at the results it came up with its pretty
accurate, got rid of 15 or so contacts.

Hi,

There is no "enlarger" to go over the 150 contacts on your main contact list -- the server
enforces this.
