hello, i had problems with msn messenger, and i had tried
to instal msn messenger 6.2 again, but id doesnt work. I
have looked on the internet for solutions but they
don'twork. I have windows 2000 professional and i have
disable ad-aware.... please can you help me?

i tried to install msn messenger 6.2 but half way through
it stops and says 'error writing to
file:C:\WINDOWS\System32\RTCRES.dll . verify that you have
access to that directory and you got retry or cancel press
cancel and it finish's and comes up error 1603 go to msn
homepage and download it from there. But it doesnt work,
what do i have to do ????????
i had also checked if there was a file in the map
system32, and it was

You may just need to (re)install the latest Windows Installer executable:
